EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
PMP Certificate: Offered by Project Management Institute
Used to recognize project managers who have proven they have project leadership experience and expertise in any way of working.
Computer Information Systems Bachelor, Military Science Minor: From Jacksonville State University
Provides the foundation of technical skills and leadership ability.
Google Project Management: Offered by Google
A 100-hour course based around “initiating, planning, and running both traditional and Agile projects”.
Officer Leadership Course: Offered by US Army
A 625-hour course on Strategic plaining, executive briefs, documentation, and team development for larger sized elements from platoon (20-40 personnel) to a battalion (250-500 personnel)
EXPERIENCE
US Army Reserve, Savannah, 2020 – Current
Signal Officer:
- Managed Battalion safety during summer training of 2023 where we incurred no major incidents with 500 personnel across two locations and 25 square miles of operation.
- Developed the standards for risk assessments for the battalion allowing each company to act independently and more dynamically to their specific mission set.
- Served as a cross-functional manager covering 30 people who specialized in Network Setup and Human Resources who were both recognized during 2023 for their performance in an evaluated setting.
US Army Reserve, Savannah, 2014 – 2020
Enlisted:
- Responsible for the dispatch of over 10 million dollars’ worth of equipment
- Established procedures to capture, store, and visualize data of the unit’s equipment providing data points on mission readiness.
- Presented data visualizations to internal and external stakeholders to allow data driven decision making.
SAIC, Remote / 2022 – current
UI Developer:
- Developed the standard onboarding procedures successfully onboarding six team members.
- Spearheaded the development of multiple components and their documentation utilized by Customs and Border Patrol across four separate teams.
- Worked collaboratively with cross functional teams to ensure accurate display and real-time data updates at all levels.
SAIC, Anniston, AL / 2021 – 2022
.Net Developer:
- Lead the integration of an externally developed data visualization web application (CTODD) and the required SQL database. Which allowed stakeholders to pull vital data for their decisions.
- Developed both user side and developer side documentation ensuring proper use and future development of the CTODD project.
